Trailer SWEET TRAILER!!!

We picked up our new home today!!!!!
It is a 27 ft Keystone Springdale.

Not too much room but we have a few projects that will keep us outside.
Camping for 4 months?....................we are NUTS!!!!

Busy, busy, busy!!!

We met Jim at the property today to try and figure out where the hell our house will sit.
We measured and painted lines all over hell.............Hoo, hoo..............Jim did you hear that??
Well Jim, it looks like we found a foreman for our upcoming project!!
A baby barn owl lives in one of the trees in our front yard!!! He has some adult feathers but still is mostly a little white puffball. He is adorable!!
He flew (or kinda flopped) out of the tree. Before we knew it though, he was back up there keeping an eye on our every move. The whole time you could hear Momma owl giving orders from across the street. We cant wait to get out there!!!!!

....and created quite a pile of debris!!
Sunkissed and dirty!!! Yeah!!!
We are going to start fencing in a couple of weeks............stay tuned.
Lots of people still viewing the house. Pray that St. Joseph will pull through soon!!

.....and comforter......
........for both rooms.
ECONOMY STIMULATED!!!

The Great Flood of 2009

The stairs before.........
............and after.

The laundry room before.................

................and after.

Death and destruction........or just another day on the acreage.

This nasty, stinky, juniper tree didn't come out with the tractor.
We had to hook it up to the truck.
Needless to say Hil had a bad day. We ended up in the shop with a bent bumper and then in the ER with Hilerie crying MY EYE!!, MY EYE!! She hooked the tree onto the bumper then screamed "HIT IT!!" and then ended up with a little twig in her eye that caused a corneal abrasion. Hilerie's thoughts on all of this, "REAL NICE SHELB". Oh yeah, and the tractor went tits up too........................Hmmm. We can hardly wait until Friday the 13th.

At least we still have a nice view....................too bad Hil can only see it with her right eye.

The right side is our future chicken coop and the left side is our tack room. We hauled off 3 loads of SHIT to the dump from this little itty bitty area alone.

Oh yeah, we also got rid of some squatters in the chicken coop too.....nasty little bastards!! Good thing it is still cold.
